The Staff at Littledean

 

 

 

 

Valerie Huggett is the head teacher. She was previously deputy head teacher at Berry Hill School and maintains close links with them.
This year she is teaching Year 5/6 (Maple Class) on Thursdays and Fridays. 

 

 

Since December 1995, Carole Greening has taught in the infant class at Littledean school. At present she is teaching Reception and Year 1 children. Her class is called Hollyleaves. Carole  is a qualified Forest School Leader.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hayley Barwick joined the school in 2000. This year she is teaching years 5 and 6 in Maple class. She is Special Needs coordinator and has taken on further studies to support her in this role. She has achieved her Post Graduate Certificate in Behaviour and Learning Challenge and is now in the second year of her Masters. 

 

 

 

 

Laura May came to Littledean in Spring 2002. She currently teaches Yr.3 and 4 in Chestnut Class. She is the maths coordinator and has been responsible for organising a whole range of games to support children and make maths fun.
She is also rapidly becoming a whizz at editing our home movies!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Debbie Russell team teaches in the infants with Angela Parker. Their class is called Hollyberries and it is made up of children from years 1 and 2. Debbie is qualified in signing at stage 1.

 

 

 

 

 

Linda Stonyer provides support for children in Chestnut Class. She also provides recorder lessons for all junior children.

Linda has a particular interest in art and runs an extremely popular art club.

 

 

 

 

 

Suzanne (middle) has taken on responsibility for family liaison, writing Common Assessment Forms and subsequently supporting parents and their children in a variety of ways. She also establishes excellent links with pre-school children's families in the locality.

Alison Anderson (right) supports a child in Hollyleaves.

 

 

 

 

 

Sarah-Jane Bonser works in Maple Class supporting the older children in the school. She runs an extremely successful netball club.

 

 

 

 

Sam Worgan works in Hollyleaves providing support to all the children.
